Terms of Use and Service
Last updated: 1 September 2026
1. Who we are
SnapPassport (the "Service") is a web application at https://snappassport.net that turns a photo you upload into a photograph formatted to the official requirements of a passport, identity card or visa. The Service is owned and operated by MONETIZANDO TU PASION LTD (the "Company"), Efesou 9, 5280 Paralimni, Cyprus, which acts as merchant of record: it provides the Service, manages the contractual relationship and processes payments. You can reach a person at support@snappassport.net.
SnapPassport is a private, independent service. We do not issue or process official documents, and we have no affiliation with any government body, embassy, consulate or document-issuing authority. We produce photographs designed to meet published official requirements. Whether a photograph is accepted is decided by the authority you submit it to, not by us.
2. What the Service does
You choose the document type, upload a photo or take one with your camera, and the Platform crops it to the official size for that document, adjusts the framing and the background, and checks it against the document's requirements using an artificial-intelligence vision system. A person can also look at a photograph by hand if you ask us to. Once your photo passes validation you receive:
A digital photograph sized to the official specification of the document you selected.
A printable template ready for any photo print service.
Automatic compliance checks covering face position, background, lighting, expression and related requirements.
Access to your photos and to your account settings at https://snappassport.net/mis-fotos.
The Service is digital content only. Nothing is shipped physically.
3. Your account
Your personal area works with your email address, either with a password or with a single-use sign-in link sent to your inbox. You are responsible for the security of that email account and for the activity carried out through your account, and you agree to give us truthful information.
You confirm that you are of legal age. If you submit a photograph of a minor, for a child's passport for example, you confirm that you are the minor's parent or legal guardian, or that you otherwise have sufficient authority for the minor's image to be processed.
4. What you pay, and in which currency
This is the part that is most often misunderstood, so we will be exact about it. SnapPassport operates in six countries and charges in six different currencies. We do not convert prices between them: you are charged in the currency of the country whose version of the site you buy from, and the amount is not the same in every country.
The amount charged today, the currency, the length of the trial and the monthly amount that follows are all shown on the checkout screen before you enter your card details and before you confirm. Those are the figures that apply to your purchase. If we change a price, the checkout screen shows the price in force on the day you buy, and the table in Section 5 is updated with it. Section 5 lists all six countries in full, so you can check the exact figures without starting a checkout.
Applicable taxes, where any apply, are included in the price shown. Your bank may add charges of its own, for example a foreign-transaction fee if you buy from a version of the site that is not in your card's currency. Those charges are set by your bank and we neither receive nor control them.
Payment is processed through Stripe's embedded checkout, in an encrypted environment compliant with payment-industry security standards (PCI-DSS). Stripe collects your card details directly. We store only provider identifiers or tokens, never your full card data.
On your bank or card statement the charge appears as SNAPPASSPORT.NET, or under the company name MONETIZANDO TU PASION LTD, depending on your bank. Both are the same charge and both are us. If you see a line you do not recognise, send us the date and the exact amount at support@snappassport.net and we will identify it for you, which is normally faster than asking your bank to trace it.
5. Prices by country
These are every price the Service charges, in full: there is no other amount and no country outside this table. If we change a price, the checkout screen shows the price in force on the day you buy and this table is updated with it. If any other page or policy on this site gives a different figure, this table is the one that governs.
| Country | Site | Charged today | Then per month | Currency |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| United States | snappassport.net/ | $0.99 | $49.99 | USD |
| Canada | snappassport.net/ca | C$0.99 | C$69.99 | CAD |
| United Kingdom | snappassport.net/uk | £0.99 | £49.99 | GBP |
| Australia | snappassport.net/au | A$0.99 | A$69.99 | AUD |
| New Zealand | snappassport.net/nz | NZ$1.19 | NZ$84.99 | NZD |
| Ireland | snappassport.net/ie | €0.99 | €44.99 | EUR |
In every country the trial lasts 7 days and the membership includes 30 photos per month. The monthly amount is not charged on the day you buy: it is charged when the trial ends, and only if you have not cancelled before then. A cancellation made at any time before that charge, including one made on the last day of the trial, stops it.
6. The 7-day trial and automatic renewal
Your first payment is the amount in the "Charged today" column above. It is not a deposit and it is not a free trial: it is a real charge that pays for your first photo and opens 7 days of access to the Service.
When those 7 days end, the membership begins automatically at the monthly amount for your country and renews on the same date every month until you cancel. We would rather say this plainly than have it come as a surprise: if you do nothing, you will be charged. You are shown this at checkout before you pay, and we send you an email before the trial ends telling you the date of the coming charge.
The membership includes 30 photos per month. Unused photos do not carry over to the following month.
If a monthly charge is declined by your bank, our payment provider tries it again over the following days. While that is happening the membership is not cancelled by itself; if the payment is never completed, the membership is suspended and nothing further is charged. Please do not rely on an email to know where you stand: your account page at https://snappassport.net/mis-fotos always shows the current status of your membership, and you can cancel from it at any moment, whether or not a charge has failed.
7. How to cancel, during the trial included
You can cancel at any time from your personal area at https://snappassport.net/mis-fotos. Sign in, open your account section, press cancel and confirm: one click and one confirmation, and the confirmation only tells you what will happen, it does not ask you to reconsider. This works during the 7-day trial exactly as it works afterwards. You do not have to email us, wait for a reply, give a reason or pass through any retention step.
Cancelling during the trial has been possible from your account since 26 August 2026. Before that date the option was not available during the trial, and customers who wanted to stop before the first monthly charge could not do it themselves.
If you cancel during the trial, you keep access until the seventh day and the monthly charge is never made. If you cancel later, you keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for, and nothing further is charged. Cancelling takes effect the moment you confirm it, so it works right up to the last minute: any cancellation made before the renewal date stops that charge, including one made on the last day of the trial. You will see the cancellation confirmed in your account straight away, on the same screen, with the date your access ends. You can also write to support@snappassport.net from your account's email address and ask us to cancel for you, and we will.
8. If the authority rejects your photo
Our checks are designed to ensure your photograph meets the published technical requirements of the document you selected. Acceptance, however, is the authority's decision, and we cannot guarantee it.
If a photograph we validated is rejected, write to support@snappassport.net and tell us what the rejection said, attaching the notice if you were given one. We will produce a new photograph at no extra cost, or refund what you paid for it, whichever you prefer. The conditions and the time limit are set out in our Money-Back Policy (/legal/money-back).
You have 14 days from each charge to ask us for a refund, and a photograph rejected by the authority we look at whatever the date on the charge. When we refund you we cancel the subscription at the same time, so that the charge does not come round again next month: you do not have to ask for the two things separately. You can also cancel yourself, at any moment, at https://snappassport.net/mis-fotos. The full conditions are in our Money-Back Policy (/legal/money-back).
9. Refunds and right of withdrawal
Refunds are governed by our Money-Back Policy (/legal/money-back), which sets out what we refund and gives you 14 days from each charge to ask. Our Subscription Policy (/legal/subscription) covers renewals, failed payments and cancellation in more detail. If any of those documents disagrees with these Terms about a price, a currency, or how and when you can cancel, these Terms govern.
Where consumer law gives you a withdrawal period for distance purchases: by asking for immediate access to your photograph you consent to immediate performance of the contract, and once the download of, or access to, that photograph has begun you lose the right of withdrawal in respect of that content, to the extent the law of your country of residence allows. This does not affect the Money-Back Policy, which we apply in any event.
10. Acceptable use
Use the Service lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.
Submit only images you have the right to use, with the consent of the person photographed where that is required.
Do not impersonate anyone, forge documents or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Do not copy, resell or commercially exploit the Platform's software or content.
You are responsible for the use you make of the photograph you obtain, and you will hold the Company harmless against third-party claims arising from that use.
11. Automated checks and human review
Compliance checking uses artificial-intelligence vision systems, applied with reasonable care. It may ask you to retake a photo when the minimum requirements are not met, and it can be wrong in either direction. You have the right to ask for human intervention in respect of that automated check, as data-protection law provides: write to support@snappassport.net and a person will look at your photo.
12. Limitation of liability
The Company's total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the affected service. We are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or lost opportunity: travel already booked, appointment or application fees, or a missed deadline following a rejected or delayed document application are examples of loss we do not cover.
The Service is provided with reasonable care and skill, but not as a guarantee of any particular outcome with any authority. Nothing in these Terms removes or limits rights that the consumer law of your country of residence does not allow to be waived, and nothing here limits our liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
13. Intellectual property and your photos
The Platform's software, technology, design, text and trade marks, excluding the images you provide, belong to the Company or its licensors. You keep ownership of the photographs you provide and of the photographs produced for you. You grant the Company a limited, non-exclusive, temporary licence to process them strictly in order to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy (/legal/privacy).
14. Data protection
The processing of your personal data, including your photograph, which may constitute biometric data, is governed by our Privacy Policy (/legal/privacy) and our Cookie Policy (/legal/cookies).
15. Changes, termination and general terms
The Company may amend these Terms, in particular to reflect regulatory or technical changes, by publishing the current version with its update date. Amendments apply to contracts entered into after publication. If we change the price of an existing subscription, we will tell you by email before the change takes effect and you will be able to cancel before being charged the new amount.
The Company may suspend or end access in the event of a breach of these Terms or of fraudulent or abusive use. If any provision is found void, the rest stays in force. These Terms, together with the Legal Notice, the Privacy Policy, the Money-Back Policy, the Subscription Policy and any other policy linked from these Terms, make up the entire agreement between us. The English version prevails over any translation.
16. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of Cyprus, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence, which are unaffected. Where consumer law so provides, you may bring proceedings before the courts of your own domicile.
If something has gone wrong, write to support@snappassport.net before contacting your bank: we can usually cancel, refund or fix the problem faster than a card dispute can. Telling us does not take away your right to raise a dispute or to go to a consumer-protection body afterwards.
