1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy describes how MONETIZANDO TU PASION LTD ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the PersonalityTests website at personalitytests.online (the "Service"). It explains what cookies are, exactly which cookies we and our advertising partner place on your device, why we place them, and how you can control or delete them.
This Policy covers cookies and similar technologies only. For a full description of how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, please read our Privacy Policy (/legal/privacy).
Some of the cookies described in this Policy are strictly necessary for the Service to function. Under applicable law, such essential cookies do not require your consent, and they are set when you use the Service. Cookies that are not strictly necessary — the first-party attribution cookie described in Section 4 and the Google advertising cookies described in Section 5 — are set on an opt-out basis where permitted by applicable law. You can remove or block any cookie at any time through the browser controls described in Section 8. For the Google advertising cookies specifically, we also honor the Global Privacy Control signal automatically (see Section 5). We currently direct the Service and our advertising at users in the United States; before setting non-essential advertising cookies for visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we will introduce a consent mechanism as those laws require.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer or mobile device through your browser. Each cookie typically records the domain that created it, an expiration time (its "lifetime"), and a unique identifier or small piece of data. When you return to the same site, your browser sends the cookie back, which lets the site recognize your browser and remember things such as whether you are signed in or which steps of a process you have already completed.
Cookies cannot run programs or deliver viruses to your device.
3. Types of Cookies
Cookies are commonly classified along two dimensions: how long they last, and who sets them.
- Session cookies — temporary cookies that are deleted when you close your browser. They exist only for the duration of a single visit.
- Persistent cookies — cookies that remain on your device after you close your browser, until they reach their expiration date or you delete them. They allow a site to recognize you across separate visits, for example to keep you signed in.
- First-party cookies — cookies set directly by the website you are visiting (in our case, personalitytests.online). Only that website can read them.
- Third-party cookies — cookies set by a domain other than the one you are visiting, typically by advertising networks, analytics providers, or embedded content. These can allow outside companies to track your activity across different websites.
Most of the cookies used by the Service are first-party cookies set by personalitytests.online. In addition, we use Google Ads conversion tracking, which places its own advertising cookies (both first-party and, potentially, third-party cookies set by Google), as described in Section 5.
4. First-Party Cookies We Set
The table below lists the first-party cookies we set directly through personalitytests.online. Every cookie in this list is httpOnly, which means it cannot be read by scripts running in the page — an additional security measure that helps protect your session from being hijacked. (The Google advertising cookies described in Section 5 are separate, are set by Google's tag, and are not httpOnly.)

In more detail: pt_sid assigns your browser an anonymous identifier so that your quiz answers, test results, and progress stay connected as you move through the Service, even before you create an account. pt_attr records how you first arrived at the Service — campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content), advertising click identifiers (gclid, fbclid), the referring URL, and the landing page — so we can understand which of our marketing efforts work. pt_user keeps members signed in after they log in with their email and password. pt_admin is set only for authorized staff members who administer the site; ordinary visitors and members never receive it.
The pt_attr cookie is not strictly necessary for the Service to function. It is set on an opt-out basis where permitted by applicable law. You can opt out at any time by deleting the cookie or blocking it as described in Section 8, or by contacting us at support@personalitytests.online — doing so has no effect on your experience of the Service.
If we later introduce checkout through a third-party payment processor, the processor's own payment pages may set their own cookies, which are governed by that processor's cookie and privacy policies. We will update this Policy and the table above before any such change takes effect.
5. Google Ads Conversion Cookies
We use Google Ads to promote the Service, and we use Google's conversion-tracking tag (the Google tag, gtag.js, loaded from googletagmanager.com) to measure whether our ads lead to sign-ups and purchases. This tag places advertising cookies on your device. These cookies are not strictly necessary for the Service to work; they exist so we can measure and improve our advertising.

Unlike our own cookies, these Google cookies are not httpOnly (Google's tag needs to read them) and, where Google sets cookies through its own domains such as google.com, those are third-party cookies governed by Google's own policies. We use these cookies to measure conversions. We set Google Consent Mode to deny ad personalization at all times, so this data is used for conversion measurement rather than ad personalization or audience building. In addition, if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we instruct Google's tag not to use cookies or identifiers for advertising for your visit, and we redact ad-click data. These advertising cookies are otherwise set on an opt-out basis where permitted by applicable law. You can opt out or delete these cookies at any time as described in Section 8.
When you submit your email in our quiz or complete a purchase, the Google tag records a conversion. To improve the accuracy of this measurement (a Google feature called Enhanced Conversions), the tag may include your email address, which it hashes using SHA-256 in your browser before it is sent, so Google does not receive your raw email through the tag. We do not use these cookies to show you ads on the Service itself.
6. Similar Technologies
Beyond cookies, some advertising measurement can also happen on the server side. We may send server-side conversion events (for example, through the Meta Conversions API) to advertising platforms so we can measure whether our campaigns lead to sign-ups or purchases. Where such events include identifiers such as an email address, those identifiers are hashed using SHA-256 before they are sent, so the raw value is never transmitted.
Aside from the Google tag described in Section 5, we do not run third-party analytics scripts (such as Google Analytics), and we do not use standalone web beacons or advertising SDKs on the Service. 7. Why We Use Cookies
Our cookies serve these purposes:

We do not use cookies to display advertising on the Service itself, and we set Google Consent Mode to deny ad personalization at all times, so the Google cookies described in Section 5 are used to measure the results of our own advertising rather than to personalize ads or build audiences.
8. How to Manage or Delete Cookies
You are in control of the cookies on your device. Every major browser lets you view the cookies that have been set, delete some or all of them, and block cookies from specific sites or from all sites. The official instructions for each major browser are here:

To limit Google's advertising cookies specifically, you can also turn off ad personalization in your Google account at https://adssettings.google.com, or send a Global Privacy Control signal from a supported browser or extension, which we honor as described in Section 5. If you use a different browser, check its help documentation or settings menu — cookie controls are typically found under "Privacy" or "Privacy and Security." Cookie settings apply per browser and per device, so if you use the Service on more than one browser or device, you will need to adjust the settings on each. If you have given consent to a non-essential cookie and wish to withdraw it, you can delete or block the cookie using these controls, or email us at support@personalitytests.online and we will assist you.
9. What Happens If You Block Cookies
You can browse the public parts of the Service with cookies blocked, but core features depend on the essential cookies described above. If your browser blocks or deletes them:
- Without pt_sid, your quiz answers, test results, and progress cannot be linked together — refreshing a page or returning later may lose your place.
- Without pt_user, you cannot stay signed in as a member; you would be logged out and unable to access member features such as your journal, planner, and progress tracking.
- Without pt_attr, we cannot attribute your visit to a marketing campaign. This cookie is not required for any feature of the Service to work, and blocking it has no effect on your experience.
- Without the Google advertising cookies, we cannot measure whether our ads led to your sign-up or purchase. Blocking them has no effect on your experience of the Service.
In short: blocking the attribution and advertising cookies costs you nothing, while blocking the essential cookies will prevent parts of the Service from functioning.
10. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, if we rename a cookie, change a lifetime, or introduce a new technology. When we make changes, we will post the revised Policy on this page and update the effective date at the top. If we ever plan to add further third-party cookies, analytics, or advertising scripts, we will update this Policy before they are introduced. We encourage you to review this page periodically so you always know exactly what is stored on your device.
