Money-Back Policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026
1. What this policy covers
This Money-Back Policy explains when we give your money back, how to ask for it, and how long it takes to arrive. It covers every purchase made on snappassport.net. SnapPassport is operated by MONETIZANDO TU PASION LTD, Efesou 9, 5280 Paralimni, Cyprus, which is the merchant of record for your purchase. On a bank statement the charge is shown by a short descriptor rather than by that full company name — Section 4 of our Terms of Use and Service (/legal/terms) sets out how it reads. If you see a line you do not recognise, send us the date and the exact amount before you dispute it and we will tell you what it is.
How the charges work: you pay a one-off entry price for your first photo, and that opens a 7-day trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the membership then starts and renews every month, and it includes 30 photos a month. The amounts depend on the country page you bought from: United States, $0.99 today and then $49.99 a month; Canada, C$0.99 and then C$69.99 a month; United Kingdom, £0.99 and then £49.99 a month; Australia, A$0.99 and then A$69.99 a month; New Zealand, NZ$1.19 and then NZ$84.99 a month; Ireland, €0.99 and then €44.99 a month.
Every charge is made in the currency of the country page you bought from, and a refund is returned in that same currency. One warning, because it is the thing that most often looks like money missing: if your card is held in a different currency, your bank converts twice — once when you paid and again at its own rate on the day the refund lands — so the amount that reaches your account can be a little smaller, or a little larger, than the one you paid. That difference is your bank's exchange rate and any foreign-transaction fee it charges; on our side we return the full amount we received. Read this policy together with our Subscription Policy (/legal/subscription), which explains the trial and the renewal, and our Terms of Use and Service (/legal/terms).
2. The 14-day window — and the two charges we always refund
You can ask us to refund any charge within 14 days of that charge. It covers the entry price you paid for your photo and it covers a monthly membership charge. You do not have to give a reason, fill in a form, or show us that you did or did not use the Service. Having already used the 30 photos included in that month does not change it either: inside the 14 days we return the charge in full.
The 14 days count from each charge, not from the day you opened your account. A membership charge you did not mean to keep is covered if you tell us within 14 days of that charge, even if you bought your photo months earlier.
We refund the charge you point us to, and our standard reply returns the most recent one. So if two charges are both inside their 14 days — the entry price and a membership charge, for example — ask for both in the same email and say so plainly. Otherwise you will get the most recent charge back and we will not know that you wanted the other one too.
Beyond those 14 days there is one case where the answer is still yes, and it does not depend on when you write. If the only charges on your account are the entry price you paid for your photo and your first monthly membership charge, we refund both of them in full whenever you ask us to, however long ago they were made. You do not have to give a reason and there is nothing to prove. We cancel the subscription in the same move. This is our own commitment, not a legal minimum, and it applies to every country page.
If your account has gone past that — a second monthly charge or more — then the 14-day window above is what you can count on, and anything older than that is read and decided by a person rather than by a rule. Write to us and tell us what happened. We answer every message, and "outside the window" has never been our whole answer.
When we refund inside this window we cancel the subscription in the same move, so that the same thing does not happen again next month. After the 14 days we have no rule that turns every request into a no: write to us anyway, tell us what happened, and we will look at your account and tell you honestly what we can do.
3. If the authority rejects your photo
We check every photo against the official requirements of the document you selected, but the final decision belongs to the authority you submit it to, and no service can promise otherwise. That is exactly why this section exists.
If a photo we validated is rejected by the issuing authority, we make it right: we produce a new photo at no extra cost, or we refund what you paid for it. The choice is yours, not ours.
Write to us and tell us what the authority said. If you were given a written rejection notice, attach it — that is the only document we ever ask for, and only in this case. Appointments and postal replies take weeks, so a rejection is looked at even after the 14 days have passed: the limit for this case is 90 days from the charge. If your appointment took longer than that, write to us anyway and we will do what we can, with one honest caveat — beyond roughly six months our payment provider can no longer send money back to the original card, so past that point what we can offer is a new photo rather than a refund.
4. How to ask for a refund
Email support@snappassport.net from the address you used to buy. Tell us the date and the amount of the charge you want back. If you want to tell us what went wrong, one line helps us fix it for the next person, but it is not a condition and we will not ask you to justify anything. That is the whole process: no form to fill in, no phone queue, and nothing to attach except the rejection notice in the one case described in Section 3.
If you no longer have access to the email address you bought with, write from the one you use today and tell us the old address so that we can find the payment. If you have your bank statement to hand, the date and the exact amount are enough for us to locate the charge.
5. What happens after you write
Every request gets a written answer. The ones that match a clear rule — you ask to cancel; you ask for a refund inside the 14 days; or you ask for the entry price and a first membership charge back, whenever that was — are carried out and answered automatically, which is why they are the fastest. Anything that does not match a rule, and anything involving a bank dispute or a formal complaint, is read by a person before we reply, and that takes longer. We do not work strictly in the order messages arrive, and we would rather say so than print a queue we do not run.
What we do commit to, in writing: our answer says exactly what we did with your money and with your subscription; and once a refund is approved it is sent to the payment provider on that same working day, so the wait after that point is your bank's (Section 7). We aim to decide within 5 working days of your email, and if it is going to take longer we write and tell you.
If you have written and heard nothing after those 5 working days, reply on the same email thread. You will not lose your place, and a second message makes yours easier for us to find.
To stop a future charge you do not have to wait for our reply. Cancelling is one click in your account at /mis-fotos, and that page is available around the clock, outages aside. Signing in uses a single-use link sent to your email address, and the button asks you to confirm before it cancels. If that link does not reach you — check your spam folder first — write to support@snappassport.net from your account's email address and ask us to cancel: we do it by hand and confirm it by email.
6. Refunding and cancelling are two different things
A refund returns the money for one charge that has already happened. By itself it does not stop the subscription: unless the subscription is cancelled as well, it stays active and renews on its normal date. If you want both, make sure both actually happen.
When we refund a charge inside the 14-day window we cancel the subscription in the same move, and we say so in our reply, so you do not have to ask for the two things separately. If our reply does not mention the cancellation, treat it as not done and tell us — or cancel it yourself, which is faster than asking.
Cancelling yourself: open your account at /mis-fotos and cancel in one click. Since 26 August 2026 this works during the 7-day trial as well, not only after it. If you cancel during the trial you keep access until the trial ends and no membership charge is made. If you cancel later, you keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for, and nothing further is charged.
Two things about cancelling during the trial, so that neither is a surprise: it does not by itself refund the entry price you already paid, and it does not take the photo away — the photo you paid for stays yours and stays in your account. If you want that entry price back as well, ask us for it within its 14 days under Section 2 and you will get it.
7. How the money comes back
Approved refunds go back to the card or payment method used for the purchase, in the currency it was charged in. A refund travels back down the same path the payment came in on, which is why it cannot be redirected to a different card or sent by bank transfer. And as in Section 1, if your card is held in another currency your bank applies its own exchange rate on the day the refund lands.
If that card has expired, been replaced or been cancelled, this is usually still fine: the issuer normally routes the refund to the account behind the old number, which is your replacement card or the same account. If the account itself was closed, or if nothing turns up at all, write to us — we will give you the refund confirmation and its reference so your bank can trace it, and we stay with it until the money lands or the bank tells us where it went.
Once we issue it, the money normally appears in 5 to 10 business days. On our side it is sent on the working day the refund is approved; the rest of that time belongs to your bank. Depending on the bank, your statement will show it either as a separate credit or as the original charge disappearing.
If more than 10 business days have gone by and you still see nothing, write back and we will send you the refund confirmation and its reference, which your bank can trace.
8. What this policy does not cover
A charge that has already been refunded cannot be refunded a second time.
While your bank is running a dispute or a chargeback on a charge, we do not refund that charge ourselves. That is our policy and not a technical impossibility, and the reason is plain: the charge is already in the bank's hands, and returning it on top of a live dispute can end with you being paid twice for the same charge. Withdraw the dispute and tell us, and we will refund it ourselves, normally faster than the bank would. Either way, if you have opened one, tell us and we will tell you where it stands.
We also do not refund where there is clear fraud or abuse of the Service, such as buying and refunding over and over to obtain free photos. Using the photos included in your month is not abuse and does not cost you your refund.
Charges older than 14 days fall outside the automatic window described in Section 2, unless they are the entry price and a first membership charge, which we refund whenever you ask. Beyond that, an older charge is not an automatic no either: the rejected-photo cases in Section 3 and the rights described in Section 9 still apply, and we still answer every message.
9. Your statutory rights
This policy adds to the consumer rights that the law of your country of residence gives you. It does not replace them and it does not limit them, and where your local law gives you a stronger right than this document, that law prevails.
Because your photo is digital content that we deliver immediately, statutory withdrawal rights can work differently for it in some countries; our Terms of Use and Service (/legal/terms) explain that in detail. Either way, the 14-day window in this policy is ours to honour and does not depend on where you live.
10. Contact and updates
